ClinConnect Summary
The Pediatric Medication Therapy Management Trial is a study aimed at helping children who have multiple health issues and are taking several medications. The goal is to see if a special program, called Pediatric Medication Therapy Management (pMTM), can better identify and address problems related to their medications. This is important because children with complex medical needs can often face challenges with their medications, leading to potential errors or interactions.
To be eligible for this study, children must be between the ages of 2 and 18, have at least one ongoing serious health condition, and currently be taking five or more medications, which can include prescriptions and over-the-counter drugs. Participants will receive care at Children's Hospital Colorado. The study is currently looking for participants, so if you think your child may qualify, it could be a chance to help improve their medication management and safety.
