ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new decision support system designed to help emergency medical services (EMS) make better decisions for patients experiencing chest pain. The main goal is to see how well a machine learning model—a type of computer program that learns from data—can assist in assessing patients who call for emergency help due to chest pain.
To participate in the study, you need to be someone who calls EMS because you are experiencing chest pain or discomfort. You must be between the ages of 65 and 74, and you should be willing to answer some questions about your health and give consent for the collection of some routine medical information, including a blood sample to check your heart and blood sugar levels. If you decide to join the study, you can expect to provide information at the scene of your chest pain incident, which will help researchers understand how this decision support system can improve patient care.
