ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new rehabilitation program designed to help people who have had a stroke, also known as a cerebrovascular accident. The program focuses on using everyday activities that patients can do at home to help them recover. The first part of the study involves creating this program together with patients, and the second part will test whether using this self-rehabilitation program can actually help improve the lives of those who have had a stroke for more than six months.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be between the ages of 65 and 93 and must have had one stroke that affected only one side of the brain. They should be able to give their consent to participate and not have severe cognitive issues or other specific medical conditions that might interfere. If someone joins the trial, they can expect to engage in activities that are part of their daily life, aimed at improving their recovery. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, so it’s still in the planning stages.
