ClinConnect Summary
The Mayo Clinic is conducting a study to gather information about healthy adults to compare with data from individuals who have congenital heart disease. This research aims to better understand the differences and similarities between healthy individuals and those with heart conditions. If you are between the ages of 18 and 75, have a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or lower, and are not taking any heart medications, you might be eligible to participate. You should also have normal blood pressure and be able to understand and agree to take part in the study.
Participants in this trial will go through some screening tests to ensure they meet the eligibility requirements. It’s important to note that individuals with a history of heart problems or certain kidney issues won't be able to join this study. If you qualify, participating will help researchers gather valuable information that could improve care for people with congenital heart disease. Your involvement could make a difference in understanding heart health for everyone!
