ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how well the immune system protects people from getting COVID-19 again after they've been vaccinated or infected with the Omicron variant. Researchers want to see how the levels of COVID-19 antibodies in the body change over time and how these antibodies can help protect against different variations of the virus. The study mainly involves healthcare workers at a hospital, who will be followed for 48 weeks to gather important information about their immune response.
To participate in the trial, you need to be a medical or administrative staff member at the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-Sen University or someone who can commit to regular follow-ups. There are no age or gender restrictions, but you must be able to confirm if you've had COVID-19 before and remember when it happened. However, if you have serious respiratory diseases or other health conditions that could affect your immune system, you would not be eligible. Participants will regularly provide samples and information about their health, helping researchers understand how to strengthen immunity against COVID-19.
