ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how different types of treatment for abdominal aortic aneurysms affect the quality of life of patients. Specifically, it compares two methods: standard endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) and complex endovascular procedures (like fenestrated or branched EVAR). The study aims to see how patients' physical well-being changes before and after these treatments and if there are any differences in recovery over the course of a year.
To participate, individuals must be at least 18 years old and planning to undergo elective endovascular treatment for their aneurysm. Both men and women are welcome to join. Participants will fill out questionnaires about their health before and after the procedure, helping researchers understand how these treatments impact daily life. It’s important to note that patients who have difficulty understanding or responding to the questionnaires in Swedish or can't give consent will not be included in the study. This research is currently recruiting participants, and it aims to provide valuable insights into patient recovery after these two types of aortic repair.
