ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new technology called augmented reality (AR) that helps surgeons navigate during brain surgery. The main goal is to see if this AR system can provide accurate guidance that is just as good as the traditional navigation methods currently used. Participants in this trial will have surgery for conditions like brain tumors or blood vessel problems in the brain, and they will be enrolled after giving their consent. During the surgery, both the traditional navigation system and the new AR system will be used, allowing researchers to compare the accuracy of the two methods.
To participate in this trial, you must be an adult (18 years or older) who has had a brain scan (like an MRI or CT) due to a brain tumor or related condition and needs surgical treatment that requires navigation. It’s important to note that if your surgeon decides that navigation isn't necessary for your case, or if you or your guardian choose not to participate, you will not be included in the study. Participants can expect to help researchers gather valuable information that could improve surgical techniques and outcomes for future patients.
