ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how new advanced ultrasound techniques can help doctors better diagnose problems with the fetal nervous system during pregnancy. Specifically, it's focused on using detailed images of the baby's brain and spine to check for any abnormalities. The study will involve pregnant women who are at higher risk of having a baby with central nervous system issues, such as those who have had previous pregnancies with similar problems, have a family history of these conditions, or are carrying twins.
If you or someone you know is pregnant and fits these criteria, participating in this study could provide access to more thorough ultrasound screenings. The goal is to improve early detection of potential issues, which can help families prepare for the care their baby might need after birth. The study is currently recruiting participants, and it’s important to note that only women in higher-risk categories will be eligible to join.
