ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the relationship between endothelial function, which is a measure of how well blood vessels work, and cardiovascular events like heart attacks and strokes after non-cardiac surgeries. Researchers believe that understanding how endothelial function affects these events can help improve outcomes for patients undergoing surgery. The trial is currently looking for participants who are 45 years or older and who are willing to give their consent to join the study.
If you are eligible and choose to participate, you will be part of important research that could lead to better care for future patients. You should know that individuals who have had recent heart issues, expect to stay in the hospital for less than two days, or have certain other medical conditions may not be able to participate. Your involvement could help doctors learn more about how to prevent serious heart-related problems after surgery.
