ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how well patients with bone tumors, like osteosarcoma or Ewing sarcoma, stick to a personalized home exercise program after having surgery on their legs. The goal is to understand how these exercises can help them recover better after surgery and during their chemotherapy treatment in the first six months following the operation. Researchers will also explore what factors might influence how well patients follow the exercise program.
To participate in this trial, patients need to be at least 12 years old and undergoing surgery to remove and reconstruct parts of their lower leg due to a bone tumor. They should also be receiving physiotherapy. However, patients who have trouble understanding Italian or who aren’t comfortable using digital services won't be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to follow a tailored exercise plan at home, which is designed to help you recover, while researchers will monitor your progress and adherence to the program.
