ClinConnect Summary
The WayToServePlus clinical trial is focused on improving the training that alcohol servers, like waitstaff and bartenders, receive to help prevent drunk driving and reduce alcohol-related problems in communities. The study aims to enhance an online training program called WayToServe® by adding a professional development component that will make the training even more effective. This could lead to better alcohol service practices and, ultimately, safer environments for everyone.
To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 19 years old, work as an alcohol server or manage a licensed establishment, and have already completed the initial WayToServe training. You also need to be comfortable speaking and understanding English. If you join, you can expect to take part in additional training that could help you serve alcohol more responsibly in your community. It's important to know that if someone in your household is already involved in this project, you won't be able to participate. The trial is currently looking for new participants.
