ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how heart-related health issues (known as cardiovascular comorbidities) affect the severity of bronchiectasis—a lung condition that causes breathing difficulties—and the quality of life for patients experiencing flare-ups. The goal is to understand how having heart problems alongside bronchiectasis can influence patients' symptoms and overall well-being.

To be eligible for this study, participants must be between the ages of 65 and 74 and have bronchiectasis without any other significant health problems, except for cardiovascular issues. Unfortunately, if someone has other serious conditions or chooses not to participate, they cannot join the study. Those who take part will help researchers learn more about the relationship between heart health and bronchiectasis, which could lead to better care for patients in the future.
