ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on developing an online therapy system called EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for treating anxiety and depression in Pakistan. The study will compare how well this online therapy works against traditional face-to-face EMDR therapy. The goal is to see if people can benefit from therapy delivered over the internet just as much as they can from in-person sessions.
To participate in the trial, you need to be between 18 and 50 years old and have basic skills in using computers and the internet. It's important that you haven’t received any other therapy or medication for your mental health in the last three months. If you qualify, you'll receive training on how to use the online system, and you'll be part of a study that could help improve access to mental health care for many people in the future. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to help those dealing with conditions like anxiety, depression, and panic attacks.
