ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new approach to help young children in Ethiopia who are facing both undernutrition (not getting enough food) and overnutrition (getting too much unhealthy food). This situation is called the "double burden of malnutrition," and it can be especially harmful to children under five, who need proper nutrition for their growth and development. The trial aims to test special programs that teach families about healthy eating and nutrition to see if they can effectively address both types of malnutrition at the same time.
If you have a child between the ages of 2 and 5 who is living in Debre Berhan City and is able to attend the intervention sessions, they might be eligible to participate in this study. Families who take part can expect to learn about healthy eating habits and receive support to improve their children's nutrition. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and it’s a chance to be part of an important effort to improve child health in the community.
