ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is focused on understanding factors that can help predict how long patients with aggressive types of meningiomas, a type of brain tumor, may live after surgery, as well as the likelihood of the tumor coming back. Researchers are collecting various types of information from patients who underwent surgery for grade 2 (atypical) or grade 3 (anaplastic) meningiomas between 1999 and 2019. The goal is to find simple and reliable ways to assess a patient’s chances of survival and tumor recurrence based on this data.

To be eligible for this study, patients must have had surgery for either an atypical or anaplastic meningioma. The trial is currently recruiting participants of all genders, aged 65 to 74 years. If you or someone you know fits these criteria, joining the study could provide valuable insights into personal health outcomes and contribute to the broader understanding of these conditions. Participants can expect to share their medical history and undergo tests that analyze their tumor samples to help researchers identify important factors related to survival and recurrence.
