ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating new, non-invasive ways to detect complications that may arise after someone receives a liver transplant. After the transplant, patients can experience various issues, such as rejection of the new liver or liver dysfunction, which can be indicated by changes in liver enzyme levels. The goal of this study is to find out if certain tests can help predict these complications early on, so that doctors can take action promptly.
To participate in the trial, you must be eligible for a liver transplant according to established guidelines. The study is open to patients aged between 18 and 75 years who are preparing for their transplant. If you join, you can expect to undergo some non-invasive tests that will help researchers learn more about how to identify complications early. It's important to note that if you have previously received a liver transplant or have liver failure due to acute hepatitis, you won't be eligible for this study.
