ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called the "Perinatal Depression and Adverse Childhood Experiences: Prevention Trial," is looking to understand how a specific program called ROSE can help women who have experienced difficult childhood events and are at risk for perinatal depression, which is depression that can occur during pregnancy or shortly after childbirth. The trial will compare the effects of the ROSE program to standard treatment to see if it can better improve mood and prevent depression during this important time.
To participate, women must be at least 18 years old, speak English or Spanish, and be less than 24 weeks pregnant with a healthy pregnancy. Participants will be assigned to either the ROSE program or to enhanced usual care and will share their feelings about depression through surveys every four weeks. They will also have interviews to check for any signs of major depression. This study is currently recruiting participants and aims to provide valuable insights into supporting mental health during pregnancy.
