ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called "An Adaptive Prenatal Intervention to Increase Childhood Vaccinations," is exploring whether providing expectant mothers with reliable information about vaccines during pregnancy can help them feel more confident about vaccinations. The goal is to encourage timely vaccinations for their children, both during pregnancy and after birth. The study is currently looking for participants who are pregnant for the first time, have a single baby on the way (not twins or triplets), and are not at risk for early delivery. Participants should be in their late second trimester and receiving prenatal care at one of the study clinics.
If you decide to participate, you will receive helpful information about vaccines and might be asked to complete surveys and interviews about your experiences and choices regarding vaccinations. Your child's vaccination records will also be checked through the North Carolina Immunization Registry to see if the information influenced your decisions. This trial aims to support parents in making informed choices about vaccinations for their children, ultimately promoting better health outcomes.
