ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a treatment for wide neck saccular cerebral aneurysms, which are bulges in blood vessels in the brain that can be dangerous if they rupture. The trial is looking at different endovascular techniques that use tiny coils to fill the aneurysm and prevent blood flow into it. This method is generally less risky and allows for faster recovery compared to traditional surgery. However, treating wide neck aneurysms can be challenging, so the trial is exploring new tools and techniques to improve the success of these procedures.
To be eligible for this trial, participants should have had a spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage (a serious type of bleeding in the brain) due to a ruptured wide neck aneurysm, or they may have an unruptured wide neck aneurysm that has just formed. Those with other types of aneurysms or serious health issues may not qualify. If you join the trial, you can expect to undergo the endovascular treatment using advanced techniques and devices designed to improve safety and effectiveness. This trial is currently recruiting participants of all ages and genders.
