ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the use of a special type of lens called a toric intraocular lens (IOL) for patients with cataracts. Cataracts can cause blurry vision, and this trial aims to see how well these toric lenses work in improving vision quality and ensuring they stay stable in the eye after surgery. The trial is currently looking for participants of all ages who have cataracts. However, some people may not be eligible if they have certain eye conditions or complications, such as a small pupil, previous eye surgery, or other serious eye problems.
If you or a family member decide to participate, you can expect to have the toric lens implanted during a surgical procedure. The study will monitor your vision quality and the stability of the lens over time. This research is important because it helps doctors understand how well these lenses work, which can lead to better outcomes for future cataract patients. If you have cataracts and meet the eligibility criteria, this trial might be a good opportunity to consider.
