ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at two different surgical methods to treat endometriomas, which are cysts caused by endometriosis. The researchers want to see whether laparoscopic sclerotherapy (a procedure that uses a special solution to shrink the cyst) or cystectomy (surgery to remove the cyst) is better for women who still want to have children in the future. They will be measuring things like how the treatments affect hormone levels, how often the cysts come back, any complications from the surgeries, and the chances of getting pregnant afterwards.
To be eligible for the trial, participants need to be women aged 18 to 40 with endometriomas that are at least 30 mm wide and have plans to have children in the future. Women with certain conditions, like previous endometriomas that came back, signs of cancer, or other pelvic diseases, cannot participate. Those who join can expect close monitoring and support throughout the study, as well as a chance to contribute to important research that may help others facing similar challenges.
