ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial, called "Shifting Sleep Timing in Teens," is looking at new ways to help teenagers get more sleep. Researchers want to see if a special combination of lighting changes and behavior tips can help teens sleep longer and improve their mood and thinking skills. They’re studying whether these changes can lead to better sleep over time.

To participate, teens need to be between 14 and 18 years old, enrolled in grades 9-12, and willing to adjust their bedtime to go to sleep earlier. Participants should also be able to sleep in their own bedroom most nights during the study. However, teens currently taking sleep medications or who sleep face-down won’t be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to follow some new sleep routines and use special lighting to help improve your sleep habits. This trial is currently looking for participants, so it’s a great opportunity to help researchers find ways to support better sleep for teens!
