ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is exploring a new way to help children with severe communication disabilities. The researchers are using a special technology called an eye-tracking system, which allows children to communicate by moving their eyes to select images or words on a screen. This can be especially helpful for kids who have difficulty speaking due to conditions affecting their brain or nervous system.

To participate in this trial, children must be between 3 and 17 years old and have specific communication challenges. They should be able to control their eye movement and focus on a screen. It's also important that at least one family member can join in the therapy sessions to support the child. If your child meets these criteria, they may be eligible to take part. Participants can expect to work with the eye-tracking system in a supportive environment, helping them learn how to use this technology to express their thoughts and needs. Overall, this trial aims to improve communication options for children who struggle to express themselves.
