ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the experiences and needs of patients who had to cancel their planned cancer surgery for gastrointestinal tumors, like pancreatic cancer. Even though most patients receive the surgery they need, there are cases—about 10%—where the surgery cannot be performed because the cancer has spread or is too advanced. The goal of this research is to better understand what these patients go through and what support they need, so that future care can be improved.
To participate in this study, you must be over 18 years old and have a diagnosis of gastrointestinal cancer. If you join, you'll be part of interviews and surveys that help gather information about your experiences and care needs. This trial is currently recruiting participants and aims to use the findings to enhance the quality of care for patients facing similar challenges. Your input could really help shape better support for others in the future!
