ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how people with hearing impairments process sounds when using cochlear implants or auditory brainstem implants (ABIs). Researchers want to learn more about how these devices help improve hearing and understanding of sounds in both adults and children. By participating in this study, individuals will undergo various tests to evaluate their hearing abilities and how their brains respond to sounds.
To be eligible for this trial, participants should be at least 2 years old and currently use either a cochlear implant or an ABI. It's important that they do not have any other communication or cognitive disorders, and that their implant devices work properly without causing discomfort. If you or a loved one meets these criteria, participating in this research could provide valuable insights into hearing technology and potentially benefit the hearing-impaired community.
