ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two types of stomach cancer: gastric cardia cancer, which occurs at the top part of the stomach near the esophagus, and non-cardia gastric cancer, which occurs in other parts of the stomach. Researchers want to find out how these two types differ by looking at various biological samples, like saliva and blood, from people with gastric cancer. By analyzing these samples, they hope to identify unique characteristics that could help with early detection of gastric cancer.
To participate in this study, individuals must be between 18 and 75 years old and have had a confirmed diagnosis of gastric cancer through an endoscopic examination. However, people who have had recent stomach surgery, certain medical treatments, or other digestive diseases that could affect the results won't be eligible. This trial is currently not recruiting participants, but it aims to gather important information that could lead to better screening and treatment options for gastric cancer in the future.
