ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is comparing two types of suture materials—Novosyn Quick and Monosyn Quick—to see if they work equally well for healing after a specific type of gum surgery called resective periodontal surgery. The goal is to determine if both sutures lead to similar results in terms of wound healing, which will be measured by looking at signs like how well the skin is healing, bleeding control, and inflammation about 10 days after surgery.
To be eligible for this trial, participants need to be adults who are scheduled for this type of surgery and have given their consent for data collection. However, those with certain conditions, such as being pregnant or taking medications that could affect healing, won't be able to join. If you participate, you can expect to be monitored for any complications, how easy the sutures are to use, your pain levels, and how satisfied you are with the treatment. Overall, this study aims to ensure that both types of sutures are safe and effective for patients undergoing gum surgery.
