ClinConnect Summary

The Human Phenotype Project is a clinical trial that aims to understand how different factors influence health and disease in adults aged 40 to 70. Researchers are looking to recruit 30,000 participants, and the study will last for 25 years. Participants will be asked to visit a Clinical Test Center every two years for check-ups, have phone interviews every other year, and complete online questionnaires each year. The main goal is to explore how individual differences, such as genetics, lifestyle, and health conditions, affect how people respond to diseases and treatments.

To be eligible for this study, participants must be at least 18 years old and in generally good health. Some individuals may not qualify if they are pregnant, have active cancer, or certain chronic health conditions. This study will help researchers gather valuable information that could lead to better understanding and treatment of adult diseases. If you decide to participate, you can expect regular check-ins and to play a key role in advancing medical knowledge.
