ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new system called the GI Genius™ Intelligent Endoscopy Module, which uses artificial intelligence (AI) to help doctors find polyps (small growths) in the colon during a procedure called a colonoscopy. The goal is to see if this technology can increase the number of polyps detected, which is important because removing certain types of polyps can help prevent colorectal cancer. The trial will take place at Sengkang General Hospital in Singapore and will involve a diverse group of adult patients undergoing colonoscopy.
To participate in the study, you need to be an adult scheduled for a colonoscopy at the hospital. However, some patients may not be eligible, such as those who have had prior colon cancer or certain types of surgery on the colon. If you join the trial, you can expect that doctors will use the AI system during your procedure to see if it helps them find more polyps. The study will also look at how well this system can help train new doctors in performing colonoscopies. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and your involvement could contribute to important research on improving colon cancer screening.
