ClinConnect Summary

The PAncreatic Disease Cohort of TOuLouse study is focused on understanding various pancreatic diseases, excluding cancer. Researchers aim to develop better ways to diagnose these conditions, which can range from benign (non-cancerous) to potentially harmful. They will collect health information and biological samples from participants to help advance this important research.

To be eligible for this study, participants should be between 65 and 74 years old and have inflammatory or cystic (fluid-filled) pancreatic issues. They need to be able to read and understand the study information and must agree to take part by signing a consent form. However, individuals with pancreatic cancer, those currently battling any type of active cancer, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and individuals under legal protection won't be able to participate. If you join this study, you can expect to contribute to research that could improve diagnosis and treatment for pancreatic diseases, which may benefit many patients in the future.
