ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a program called Healthy Beat Acupunch (HBA) can improve physical fitness in older adults living in residential homes in Thailand. The researchers want to see if participating in this program for six months, first with an instructor and then at home using DVDs, can help improve various fitness aspects, such as endurance, strength, and flexibility.
To be eligible for this study, participants should be older adults who can manage daily activities independently or with some assistance, have no significant cognitive issues, and have not previously tried the HBA program. They should also be able to communicate in Thai. However, those with serious health problems or advised by a doctor not to exercise will not be able to participate. If you join the study, you can expect to engage in guided fitness activities and help contribute to understanding how exercise can benefit aging individuals.
