ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is focused on improving heart health for women who have experienced high blood pressure during pregnancy, known as hypertensive disorders. Women who face these complications are at a higher risk for heart disease later in life. The study aims to find new ways to encourage women to take better care of their heart health after giving birth. It will involve personalized support to help them engage in preventive care, which means taking steps to avoid heart problems in the future.

To participate in this trial, women must have recently given birth and experienced high blood pressure complications during their pregnancy at the University of Utah. They should be able to read and speak either English or Spanish and provide written consent to join. However, women with a history of serious heart issues or difficulties with thinking or vision that would affect their ability to communicate cannot participate. If you join the study, you can expect to receive guidance and support tailored to help you focus on your heart health as you transition into motherhood.
