ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a program called resilience coaching to see how it can help teenagers who experience chronic pain in their muscles and joints. The main goals are to find out how effective this coaching is, which teens might benefit the most, and what challenges or supports there are for using this coaching in regular healthcare. Teens aged 12 to 17 who have been diagnosed with chronic musculoskeletal pain lasting at least three months may be eligible to participate. They will need to have a caregiver who can also take part in the study.
Participants in the trial will take surveys and join the resilience coaching program, known as Promoting Resilience in Stress Management (PRISM). This program aims to help them manage their pain better than those who just receive standard care. Throughout the study, researchers will measure improvements in daily functioning, emotional well-being, and pain levels. If you or someone you know is dealing with chronic pain and fits the eligibility criteria, this could be an opportunity to receive support while contributing to valuable research.
