ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, titled "VR, Visio-tactile Stimulation and Embodiment," is exploring how well people can control a virtual hand using their real hand, especially for more complex movements. The researchers are interested in understanding how seeing and feeling sensations from the virtual hand might help participants feel more connected to it, which is called "embodiment." This study is designed for healthy adults aged 18 and older who are right-handed.
To participate, individuals must not have certain health issues, such as seizures in the last five years or any conditions that affect their ability to see or use their hands. Participants will engage in activities using virtual reality technology, where they will practice moving a virtual hand. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but if you're eligible, you can expect a fun and engaging experience that explores the connection between your real hand and a virtual one.
