To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old and scheduled for a lung transplant. However, if you have certain kidney conditions or are on specific treatments before surgery, you may not be eligible. If you join, you can expect to have your kidney oxygen levels monitored during your surgery, which could help improve your recovery and reduce the risk of kidney failure after the transplant. The trial is still in the planning stages, so recruitment hasn’t started yet.

Eligibility criteria

• Inclusion Criteria:
• • patient undergoing a lung transplant (mono or bi-transplantation)
• • Age \>= 18 years
• • Affiliated to the French social security system
• Exclusion Criteria:
• • Renal anatomical abnormality likely to induce a misleading NIRS signal: single kidney, polycystic kidney disease.
• • Expression of opposition to participation in the research protocol.
• • Hyperbilurbinemia \> 17mmol/l
• • Preoperative Extra Corporeal Membran Oxygenation (ECMO).
• • Preoperative mechanical ventilation
