ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how different symptoms affect patients who are on maintenance hemodialysis, a treatment for people with kidney failure. Researchers will use a survey to understand how often these patients experience symptoms, how severe those symptoms are, and how much they impact their daily lives. They want to compare patients who have been on dialysis for a long time to those who are newer to the treatment. By analyzing the results, the goal is to identify the most common and troubling symptoms, which will help doctors provide better, more personalized care.
To participate in this study, you must be at least 18 years old and have been on regular hemodialysis for at least three months. You should also be stable in your treatment plan, meaning it hasn’t changed in the last month. However, people with certain medical conditions, such as mental illnesses or severe infections, will not be eligible. If you join, you’ll be asked to complete a questionnaire about your symptoms, which will help improve the understanding and management of symptoms in dialysis patients.
