ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new way to detect cancer early using a simple blood test. Researchers want to see if they can identify differences in the RNA (a type of genetic material) from blood cells of people with cancer compared to healthy individuals. By collecting blood samples from both newly diagnosed cancer patients and healthy donors, the study aims to create a model that helps doctors distinguish between the two groups. Early detection of cancer can lead to more treatment options and potentially better outcomes for patients.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old and able to give your consent to join. However, if you are pregnant, have recently received a blood transfusion, have had cancer treatment in the last three years, or have a known cancer diagnosis, you won't be eligible. Participants can expect to provide a blood sample, and the researchers will measure how well their test can detect multiple types of cancer. This study is currently recruiting participants, and it's open to individuals of any gender.
