ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying the effects of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) on men who are experiencing infertility due to a condition called oligospermia, which means having a low sperm count. Infertility affects many couples trying to conceive, and this study aims to see if HBOT can help improve sperm counts in men diagnosed with this condition. The trial is currently recruiting participants who are male, at least 21 years old, and have had at least two sperm tests showing low sperm counts.

To participate, men must be willing to attend regular clinic visits and understand the study's requirements. However, there are some criteria that would exclude a person from joining, such as having a serious illness, a history of certain cancer treatments, or existing health issues that could complicate the therapy. If eligible, participants can expect to receive HBOT, which involves breathing pure oxygen in a specially designed chamber, and they will be monitored throughout the study to assess any changes in their sperm count.
