This clinical trial is focused on understanding and improving care for Black women who have experienced intimate partner violence. The study aims to adapt and evaluate a special program that provides support and resources to help these women heal from their trauma. If you are a Black woman between the ages of 18 and 54, and you have experienced intimate partner violence, you might be eligible to participate, especially if you are a patient at the Meharry or Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center and can speak either English or Spanish.

Participants in this trial can expect to take part in discussions and activities that are designed to help them feel safe and supported. The study is currently looking for women to join, and your involvement could help shape better care for others in similar situations. It’s an opportunity to share your experiences and contribute to a program that aims to make a positive difference in the lives of Black women dealing with the effects of intimate partner violence.

  • Inclusion Criteria:
  • Meharry or Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center female patients
  • Self-identify as Black
  • Self-identify as intimate partner violence survivors
  • English or Spanish language fluency
  • Exclusion Criteria:
  • Not Black female intimate partner violence survivor of Meharry or Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center
  • Those without English or Spanish language fluency
