ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how a technology-based meditation program can help inpatients who have recently had a stroke. The goal is to see if this meditation can reduce feelings of anxiety and depression and improve overall quality of life for these patients. If you are an adult who has had a stroke within the last two months and are at risk for depression or anxiety, you might be eligible to participate.

As a participant, you would be asked to take part in meditation therapy at least three times a week for at least 10 minutes each session. You will also use a special device to help monitor your heart rate and provide feedback on your meditation practice. While some participants will use this program, others will continue with standard care and complete surveys about their experience. The study also plans to gather more insights by talking to patients and staff about how meditation may benefit those recovering from a stroke.
