ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a mobile health app can help people who have symptoms after a concussion, known as Post-Concussion Syndrome. Many patients find it challenging to follow their doctor's advice about daily exercises and mindfulness practices, which can prolong their symptoms. In this study, participants will be divided into two groups: one will receive standard care from their doctors, while the other will use a smartphone app called MyHeadHealth to help them stick to their treatment plan. Researchers will compare how each group feels and their quality of life at one month and three months after their first doctor's visit.
To join the study, participants need to be between 18 and 74 years old and have a diagnosed concussion. They must also be able to understand and complete study questionnaires and have access to a smartphone with internet. Unfortunately, those with more severe brain injuries or certain sensitivities that make it hard to use a phone will not be eligible. This trial aims to see if using a mobile app can improve how patients feel and ensure they are satisfied with their care.
