ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how certain heart measurements can help improve the understanding of congenital heart disease in adults. The goal is to gather important data that can contribute to the Mayo Clinic Adult Congenital Heart Disease Registry, which tracks health information for people with this condition.
To participate, you should be between the ages of 65 and 74, have a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or lower, and have stable blood pressure and kidney function. Participants will need to be able to give their consent and undergo an MRI, which is a type of scan that creates images of the inside of the body. However, people with a history of heart disease, those taking heart medications, or those who are currently pregnant cannot join the study. If you are eligible and choose to participate, you can expect to contribute to valuable research that aims to improve care for individuals with congenital heart disease.
