ClinConnect Summary
The Cantabria Cohort is a large research study taking place in Northern Spain. Its main goal is to better understand the causes and outcomes of various chronic diseases by following a group of people over time. Researchers are looking to enroll between 40,000 and 50,000 volunteers aged 40 to 69. So far, more than 22,000 people have already signed up. Participants will be asked to complete health questionnaires, undergo medical examinations, and provide samples for analysis every three years for a total of twenty years. This study aims to uncover new insights about disease prevention and treatment, which can help improve healthcare for everyone.
To be eligible for this study, you need to be between 40 and 69 years old and live legally in Cantabria. You will also need to sign a consent form agreeing to participate.
