ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a new treatment called NESA microcurrents to see if it can help people who have had a stroke. The researchers want to find out if this treatment can reduce problems like muscle stiffness (spasticity), improve balance, relieve pain, and enhance overall quality of life, including how well people sleep and perform daily activities.

To participate in the trial, individuals must be between 65 and 74 years old and have had a stroke between 6 months and 6 years ago. They should also be able to stand with or without assistance and have the mental capacity to understand and answer questions. However, those with certain medical conditions, like pacemakers or skin issues, and those who do not give consent will not be eligible. Participants in the trial will likely receive the NESA treatment and will be asked to complete some questionnaires to measure their progress. This study is currently recruiting, so there is an opportunity for eligible individuals to take part and potentially benefit from this innovative approach.
