ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on finding better ways to detect and treat air leaks that can happen during lung surgeries. An air leak from the lung can lead to complications after surgery, so the researchers are testing a special bio-adhesive that may help fix these leaks right away. By improving detection and treatment of these leaks during surgery, the goal is to help patients recover more quickly and spend less time in the hospital.
To participate in this trial, you need to be someone who is undergoing lung transplant surgery or a patient whose lungs cannot be donated. Unfortunately, healthy individuals are not eligible to join. If you are part of this study, you can expect to receive care from experienced medical professionals who will closely monitor your situation to see how well the new method works. This trial is currently recruiting participants, so if you meet the criteria and are interested, you can find more information on how to get involved.
