ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how certain medications and natural supplements that target energy production in cells can help improve movement and walking in people with Parkinson's disease. Researchers believe that problems with energy production in cells play a significant role in the development of Parkinson's, and they want to see if targeting this issue can help patients feel better and move more easily.
To participate in this study, you need to have been diagnosed with a specific type of Parkinson's that causes stiffness and difficulty moving, and you should have had the disease for at least five years. Other criteria include being stable on your current medications for the last three months and having a good level of mental function. Participants will be monitored closely to assess any changes in their movement and overall health. This trial is not yet recruiting, but it aims to provide valuable insights into new treatment options for people living with Parkinson's disease.
