ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how a specific examination method called Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) can help identify different types of patients with concussions. The study aims to see if people with concussions who have a "directional preference"—meaning they feel better when moving in a certain way—respond differently compared to those who don’t have this preference. This could help doctors understand how best to support patients recovering from mild traumatic brain injuries.
To participate in the trial, you need to be between the ages of 13 and 65 and have symptoms like neck pain, headaches, or dizziness related to a concussion. You must also be able to read and write in English and have a referral from a doctor. If you decide to join, you can expect to undergo the MDT examination, which will help determine the best way to manage your symptoms. However, if you have certain health issues or are receiving other treatments for your condition, you may not be eligible for the study. This trial is currently recruiting participants, so it’s a good opportunity for those who qualify to contribute to important research in concussion management.
