ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking into how endovascular treatment, a procedure used to remove blood clots from the brain, can help patients experiencing an acute ischemic stroke. This type of stroke occurs when a blood vessel supplying blood to the brain becomes blocked, leading to serious health issues. The study aims to gather information from multiple centers to better understand the effectiveness and outcomes of this treatment for patients with large vessel occlusions, which are blockages in the major blood vessels of the brain.
Anyone who has been diagnosed with an acute ischemic stroke and has a confirmed blockage in either the front or back part of the brain may be eligible to participate. Participants must be willing to receive the endovascular treatment and agree to take part in the study by signing a consent form. Importantly, this trial is open to all genders and age groups, with no specific exclusions. If you or a loved one is considering joining this study, you can expect to receive the treatment while contributing to valuable research that may help improve care for future stroke patients.
