ClinConnect Summary
**Summary of the Clinical Trial: Adapted Physical Activity Education in Patients With Neurocognitive Disorder**
This clinical trial is exploring how two different programs can help improve the well-being of patients with neurocognitive disorders, which can affect memory, thinking, and behavior. One group of participants will follow a program called Adapted Physical Activity (APA), while another group will take part in the same APA program but with added education about physical activity (called Physical Activity Education, or PAE). The researchers believe that combining exercise with education will lead to better results in terms of physical activity levels, brain function, and overall quality of life.
To join this study, participants should have mild neurocognitive disorders or be in the early stages of more severe disorders. Unfortunately, those with more advanced cognitive issues, serious health problems, significant depression, or major sensory impairments like severe hearing or vision issues won't be eligible. Throughout the study, participants will undergo evaluations at the beginning, after three months of the program, and again three months after the program ends to see how they have improved. This research is currently recruiting participants of all genders aged 25 to 66, and it aims to provide valuable insights into supporting individuals with neurocognitive disorders through physical activity.
