ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new type of online therapy called guided internet-delivered cognitive behavioral therapy (ICBT) to see how effective it is for people with moderate depression, panic disorder, and social anxiety disorder. The main goals are to find out how well this online treatment works in real-life healthcare settings, how cost-effective it is, who benefits most from it, and what factors might cause some people to drop out of the program. Participants will take part in up to nine online therapy sessions and complete questionnaires to track their symptoms, quality of life, and overall satisfaction with the treatment.
To be eligible for this trial, participants should be aged 65 to 74 and have moderate depression, panic disorder, or social anxiety disorder. They must also have access to a computer and the internet. Those with severe depression, suicidal thoughts, bipolar disorder, psychosis, substance abuse issues, or certain reading and writing difficulties will not be included. If you join the study, you can expect regular check-ins and support as you navigate the online therapy sessions, and your feedback will help researchers improve mental health care for others in the future.
